Surgery

Developing the most effective surgical plan based on each patients individual needs, hernia repair can often times be done robotically as an outpatient procedure.

Treatment plans utilize the latest innovations including lightweight, high-strength meshes that are custom-tailored for men and women to create tension-free hernia repairs.

Recovery

The advanced techniques we use are associated with the lowest risk of recurrence when compared to most other older surgical techniques, which place extreme tension on the muscle and the repair by simply cutting and sewing muscle together. Our method of repair is equally safe and fully effective for those patients suffering from recurrent hernias as well.

Recovery is more rapid and pain is minimal since muscles are not cut or pulled together, nor sewn under tension. Restrictions after surgery are few, and our patients usually go home the same day of surgery and return to normal activity in days.
