Orthopedic Trauma

Hurley’s team of orthopedic surgeons is highly trained and board-certified. We provide skilled, on-call surgical support for the Hurley Trauma Center, the area’s only Level 1 trauma center and Michigan’s northernmost facility, which also features the region’s only fellowship trained orthopedic traumatologist.

Hurley’s Level I Trauma Center treats over 1,600 patients from across the state every year. We are unique in our ability to provide comprehensive care to adults and children, from our initial response to inpatient treatment in Hurley Medical Center’s 432-bed hospital, followed by outpatient and follow-up services.
