Sydney Hicks, MA, TLLP
Sydney is a Master’s-level Limited Licensed Psychologist (MA, TLLP) with graduate-level training in clinical psychology. Completing her academic coursework and clinical preparation at The Michigan School of Psychology, gaining experience in evidence based therapeutic practices for individuals across diverse backgrounds.
Providing individual therapy for concerns including depression, mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment-related stressors, and trauma. Striving to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, develop resilience, and work toward meaningful change.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in humanistic theory, emphasizing empathy, collaboration, and respect for each client’s lived experience. Utilizing evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in building insight, emotional regulation, and effective coping skills.
