Pediatric Psychologist

Dr. Burrell is no stranger to the Hurley community as she has been providing a variety of pediatric psychology services here since completing her post-doctoral fellowship training in 2013. Dr. Burrell’s role at Hurley spans multiple clinics and service lines and includes consultation-liaison on the pediatric hospital floors, integrated primary care and multidisciplinary clinics at Hurley Children’s Clinic, and outpatient psychotherapy and autism assessment services at ANPPS. In her many years of clinical work, Dr. Burrell has found her passion in providing answers to children and families through assessment work, as well as guidance for how to improve their health and well-being through a collaborative, evidence-based and tailored approach to treatment. Dr. Burrell’s therapeutic and assessment skills are broad; however, she has specialty skills in helping children and families cope with new medical conditions, diagnosing neurodevelopmental conditions, managing behavioral challenges, and promoting healthy development.
